  • Half Marathon 21.1 KM Participants Only Medical Verifications

  • ***25th January 2026, Reporting Time:-6:30 AM Siliguri College Ground Half Marathon 21.1KM Partcipants**
  1.  Siliguri College (Govt. of West Bengal) and Siliguri Marathon Committee 2026 are jointly organizing the β€œSILIGURI MARATHON 2026”. This event is part of the 75th anniversary of Siliguri College.
  2.  The half-marathon measures 21.100 kms and respects the rules for road races as per the National requirements outlined by the AFI.
  3. The course will be measured according to the regulations defined by the Association of International Marathons.
  4.  ***The race is open to all athletes of Indian nationality. ***
  5. The competitors must be 18 years or above for half marathon, 12 years and above for the Dream Run. You are reminded that inspections will be carried out during the race to ensure the regulations of the race arerespected. It is especially pointed out that runners compete in the race under their own responsibility.
  6. Half Marathon 25th January 2026  is for the male competitors.
  7.  Participation in the Dream run is reserved for candidates from all districts of North Bengal.
  8.  Free food and lodging arrangements will be provided only for the participants ofthe  Half Marathon on 24th & 25th January 2026.
  9.  Each entry is considered non-transferable and final and implies full acceptance of the rules. No refund will be made for whatever the reasons. No registration transfer will be allowed under any circumstances. Any person passing his Chest no. (BIB Number) to a third party will be held responsible in case of an accident arising or provoked by this third party during the competition. The organization is exempt from all responsibility in case of an accident in this type of situation.
  10.  Candidates for the Half Marathon must report to the Silguri Marathon Committee  on 24th January 2026 up to 12 noon.   After medical checkups by a medical team set by the organizer, chest numbers will be issued to qualified candidates. Dream run chest no (BIB Number) can be collected from Siliguri marathon office at 30 no ward office, Deshbandhu para from 25th December 2025 to 22nd January 2026 between 11 am and 5 pm. Chest no(BIB Number) will not be available on presentation of confirmation of each registration. Chest no must be fully legible during the whole race. Chest no (BIB Number) cannot be mailed and cannot be collected on 25th January 2026.

  12. 9. The official jury is composed of a Siliguri Marathon Judge whose decision is final. He is assisted by official race judges and race stewards appointed by the Siliguri Marathon committee. Refreshment post will be located at an interval 5 kms and water and sponges post will be located at every 2.5 kms till the finish line. Timings will be shown at the finish line. Competitors will be permitted up to 2 hrs for completion of the course for the HALF MARATHON and 1 hrs for the DREAM RUN. After the β€œend of race” vehicle has passed, competitors should thereafter respect the Siliguri traffic code.
  13.  Road safety is under the control of the police department, and medical services are provided by a voluntary organization, they canStop any competitor for medical reasons.
  14.  The race participants expressly grant to the Siliguri Marathon committee the irrevocable right to use a participant's name, likeness, biography, factually or otherwise,e in connection with the production, distribution and exploitation of the pictures related to the marathon, worldwide in any devices, media whatsoever, now known or hereafter known, for the entire life of the Siliguri Marathon.
  15.  Participants must follow the instructions given by the race course personnel. Private escort of participants on bicycles and otherwise is not allowed. Any deviation from the set cause is prohibited. Final decisions regarding disqualifications will be made by the technical race directors of the organizing committee.
  16.  All participants enter the race at their own risk. If a registered runner does not compete in the race, the entry fee will be forfeited and will not be reimbursed by the organizer. If the race cannot be carried out or can be carried out only partially due to force majeure, participants will not be reimbursed for the entry.
  17.  Participants interested in insurance facilities, including accident insurance, can do at their own. The organizers are not liable to be held responsible for any injury or even death that may happen due to participation in the event.
  18.  Barefoot running is not allowed.
  19. The interpretation of the rules and regulations is at the organizers discretion.
  20. Any disputes hereunder will be settled before the Siliguri court of Jurisdiction.

  1. You can wear your T-shirt that carries the logo of your concern and run with a slogan in your T-shirt or you can carry a placard or banner which should be visible properly that highlights a social cause.

Run for a cause, walk for a dream! The Dream Run is a 4 km fun run that combines fitness with creativity. Whether you are an individual or part of a group, come share your message with the world and win exciting prizes.

How it Works:-

The Route: Complete the 4 km course at your own paceβ€”you can run or walk!
The Contest: Carry a placard, flex banner, or poster featuring your most creative slogan.
Winning: Prizes are awarded based on two factors: the creativity of your Slogan and the successful completion of the race.

  • Who Can Participate?

Individuals: Ages (Minimum) 12+  to Above.
Groups: NGOs, social groups, schools, institutions, trusts, and societies are all encouraged to join.

All participants of Siliguri Marathon – Run for Green Siliguri are encouraged to carry a self-made placard with a creative and unique slogan based on the theme β€œRun for Green Siliguri.”

πŸ”Ή The slogan should promote environmental awareness, greenery, sustainability, and a clean Siliguri.
πŸ”Ή Participants must carry the placard throughout the run.
πŸ”Ή The slogan should be original, meaningful, and clearly readable.
πŸ”Ή Creativity, message impact, and relevance to the theme will be key judging criteria.

πŸ† The best and most creative slogan will be specially awarded.
